Editorial Policy and Standards

CZECH NEWS CENTER a.s. (hereinafter CNC) adheres to strict journalistic standards when creating news content. The company follows its internal Code of Ethics and the principles of professional organizations of which it is a member (specifically the Czech Publishers Association, SPIR and WAN-IFRA).
The following rules apply to all CNC editorial teams and titles:

Fact-checking Policy

Editors verify all information before publication. They primarily rely on trustworthy and direct sources. For sensitive or ambiguous information, editorial teams seek confirmation from at least two independent sources. A strict distinction is made between news facts, opinion pieces, and commercial content.

Corrections Policy

CNC is committed to accuracy. If a factual error occurs despite best efforts, the editorial team corrects it immediately. In the event of substantial changes that alter the message or correct a significant fact, readers are informed via a transparent note directly within the article text (e.g., through an update or correction notice).
Masthead & Ownership
The publisher of all titles is CZECH NEWS CENTER a.s. Specific lists of authors, editors, and contact details for individual editorial teams are always available in the footer or "Contacts" section on the websites of the respective titles.
